The tab switch or end limit switch is a necessary element in automatic feeding installations. It is used (attached to the contactor) for the geared motor to stop when the feed fills the last hopper. By means of a very sensitive tab, the contact of the feed weight triggers a micro-switch that performs the automatic stop.
